Scenes from the Genghis Con Launch Event at the TCAF Shop

Well, we did it. After many months and years of work, and a (still ongoing) global pandemic that put a halt to the very idea of “comfortable” public indoor gatherings, Genghis Con made its debut at the TCAF Shop in Toronto—and we had some fun meeting our readers, signing some books, and preaching the good word! If you couldn’t make it, worry not: the book is now in stores (especially at the TCAF Shop!)

Thanks to all who stopped by the Toronto Reference Library on Saturday afternoon. It was a great pleasure to be able to get Genghis Con out there, and it was also just a great time to be with people.

Before we get to all the scenes, the team would like to offer a special thanks to Dylan Magwood and the staff at the TCAF Shop for helping it all come together. Hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Now, onto the pictures!

First, the big-time booth setup:

The Genghis Con trailer is playing—two thumbs up!

Look at Oliver and his army of fans:

The (GTA-based) team of Daniel, Oliver, and Ruth say: thanks and enjoy reading Genghis Con!

We hope this will be just the first of many appearances at conventions so keep an eye open for news on where Genghis Con will be next.
